Porthouse Theatre "Bye Bye Birdie" with Lake County Chapter

Event Description - Porthouse Theatre "Bye Bye Birdie" with Lake County Chapter
Join fellow alumni for a performance of "Bye Bye Birdie" at the Porthouse Theatre followed by dinner with the Lake County Chapter at the Fox & Hound Pub & Grille in Mayfield.

This rocking and rolling musical revolves around the Elvis Presley-esque rock 'n roll superstar Conrad Birdie who, to the dismay of his adoring fans, is about to be drafted into the army. As part of one last publicity stunt cooked up by his agent, he promises to give a good-bye kiss to one lucky girl from Sweet Apple, Ohio, on "The Ed Sullivan Show."  The upbeat score features "How Lovely To Be a Woman," "The Telephone Hour," "Put On A Happy Face," "A Lot of Livin' To Do," and "One Last Kiss."
