What is the Alumni Association?

Established in 1911, the Kent State Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that offers events, programs and benefits to keep Kent State graduates connected to the university and ensure their continued success after graduation.
 

Why does the association collect membership dues?
Your membership dues support the events, programs and services offered by the Alumni Association. To learn more about the programs membership dues have supported, visit Year in Review, 2013.   
                                                            

Why do people join the Alumni Association?
Our members have many reasons for joining: to stay connected to the university and former classmates, to show pride for Kent State, to take advantage of the numerous discounts offered and to contribute to the university’s success. Becoming a member gives you access to the Alumni Association’s social and networking events, exclusive university news, an online alumni directory, recognition and award programs, discounts for hotels, theme parks, car rentals, insurance, education and more.
