Now that you're graduating it's time to master the art of wine tasting.  During our "Wine Tasting 101" on March 1 from 6 - 8 p.m. you will have the opportunity to taste six varieties of wines at Viking Vineyards and Winery. 

The winemakers will teach you the various aspects of wine tasting, such as:
     - Why you should swirl the wine in your glass
     - What are good aromas as well as bad aromas
     - Good colors and bad colors
     - The difference between a red wine and a white wine (besides color)
     - The art of winemaking and much, much more!

Each guest will receive a Kent State University Alumni Association wine glass and have a chance to win a wine tasting gift basket. Transportation will be provided by Go2Go Taxi from the Williamson Alumni Center to the winery and back to campus. 

All seniors attending this event are required to use this transportation service. Please check in at the Williamson Alumni Center between 5-5:30 p.m.  The last van will leave at 5:30 p.m.  Limited parking will be available at the Williamson Alumni Center if you need to leave your car. 

This event is for seniors only!  The first 50 seniors to RSVP are guaranteed a seat for wine tasting.  A $5 deposit is required when you RSVP online.  You will receive the $5 back when arriving to the winery.  To RSVP, please use the registration button above.
