4:30 p.m. - Beta Phi Mu Induction Ceremony at the library, third floor
5:30 p.m. - Reception, library, third floor
6:30 p.m. - Dinner in Rm 306 Kent Student Center, with keynote address by Molly Raphael, American Library Association President-Elect
7:30 p.m. - Awards program in Rm 306 Kent Student Center

Free movie sponsored by KSCP.  Be the first to see the movie LIFE AS WE KNOW IT even before it is released in theaters.  Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel: Two single adults become caregivers to an orphaned girl when their mutual best friends die in an accident.

Spirit Walk and Pep Rally

6 p.m. Leaving from Manchester Field; ending with Pep Rally on the MACC Plaza

Join us as we parade around campus with the Marching Golden Flashes.  We will end with a Pep Rally in the MACC Plaza to get ready for a win against Akron on Saturday!

This reception serves to raise funds for the AALANA Excellence in Leadership Award Fund.  Its purpose is to award a current KSU student within the African American, Latino American, and Native American population with a scholarship in honor of their commitment to servicing the community both on and off campus.
